We have an amazing space in Southern, Maryland--Wyoming Farm--where we are striving to have community interaction and events. To achieve that goal, we need input from:
Social Justice Activists
...and other Community Stakeholders
Following the establishment of the chestnut and pawpaw orchard, we are creating a fully integrated polycultural farm incorporating smaller crops and livestock into the system. Additionally, we want community events on the farm that can range from harvest celebrations and educational workshops where traditions, old and new, will be exchanged.
Yet, we do not want to limit events to what Wyoming Farm, LLC can organize and sponsor. We want the community to lead, plan and host events and on-going initiatives. Join us on March 31st to let us know how you would use the space.
Building a community focused on the land and the people is the means and the goal. Collaboration and innovation among community stakeholders will lead to learning how to better serve each other and will include initiatives and events that are driven, planned, and supported by the community.
Join us for an engaging afternoon where we come together to discuss ideas and begin the formation of a planning committee to utilize an amazing community space in Southern Maryland.
